Cascata Golf Club is uniquely designed to be a Paradise for Golf Lover. In 2004, Dr Thanawat Saprungrueng and his team started the project that turned flat rice paddy into an exclusive golf paradise.
By October 2006, the team had finished the first 18 holes (Course A and B) with the concept of a “tropical golf experience”. The inspiration of this concept originated from the fact that Thailand is located in a tropical zone of the world and is enriched with various plants, hence the designer would like to present golfers the true beauty of Thailand’s nature.
By 2007, the C course is open for public. Immediately, it has become famous for its “Tropical link” concept. The designer has turned a flat rice paddy to a hilly Scottish link style golf course. In addition, the designer incorporates a touch of a local taste of golf by adding water into the course. This results in a stunning fusion we named “Tropical link” course. To enhance this Tropical link experience, the designer uses the particularly beautiful plant called “Love grass” to capture golfers’ feeling. The love grass will catch sunlight during sunrise and sunset and will reflect this sunlight into water giving golfers their perfect golf experience.
By October 2014, the D course is open for public. The D Course is designed challenge golfer with new layout and golfing experience. It is a creek and valley golfing experience. There are holes that will give golfers a tight air to attack the hole, making them feel as if they are playing between narrow mountain. Then it compensated with a valley experience which releases golfers from the tension.
